SLOXI Studios is officially partnering with Get Virtual Services to expand the consultancy support available to fashion and retail brands.
The partnership has been developing over the summer and feels like a natural next step as SLOXI moves into its second year. It brings together SLOXI’s specialist experience across fashion, retail, e-commerce and digital customer journeys with the wider technical and digital capabilities available through Get Virtual Services.
For brands, the aim is simple: to provide clearer, more joined-up support across the areas that influence e-commerce performance, from brand positioning and website experience through to technology, CRM, automation and wider digital infrastructure.
Why the partnership makes sense
One of the reasons I started SLOXI Studios was because of how often I had seen the same challenge appear across fashion and retail businesses: different parts of the customer experience were being treated as separate problems when, in reality, they were closely connected.
A brand might invest heavily in marketing but still have a website that makes products difficult to discover. It might have strong branding and great creative, but a poor customer journey could be creating unnecessary friction before purchase. Equally, a business might have a technically functional website, but without the right commercial strategy behind it, that alone will not drive growth.
My own career moved across fashion, e-commerce, marketing and eventually digital product management because I became increasingly interested in how these areas work together. That thinking has continued to shape SLOXI Studios.
For me, the strongest digital experiences sit at the intersection of three things: product, marketing and technology.
The partnership with Get Virtual Services gives SLOXI the opportunity to strengthen that third area while continuing to lead with the fashion and retail specialism the business has been built around.
What Get Virtual Services brings to the partnership
Get Virtual Services supports businesses across a broader range of digital and technical areas, including digital marketing, web and app development, CRM, automation and technical support.
That wider capability complements SLOXI’s existing consultancy work particularly well. Rather than trying to become a business that provides every service internally, I want SLOXI to continue building relationships with trusted specialists who can add value where a client needs deeper technical or operational support.
This means that when a fashion or retail brand needs help beyond strategy alone, there is greater scope to look at the wider picture and identify what support is actually required.
The goal is not to add complexity. It is to make it easier for businesses to understand what is holding them back, where the biggest opportunities are and what should be prioritised first.
What fashion and retail brands can access
Through the partnership, brands can now access three core areas of support.
Fashion website audits
The website audit is designed for brands that want to understand how effectively their e-commerce experience is supporting the customer journey.
The review looks beyond whether a website simply looks good. It considers how customers move through the site, how easily they can discover products, whether key information is clear and where unnecessary friction may be affecting engagement or conversion.
Depending on the brand, this can include areas such as:
- Homepage structure and messaging
- Navigation and product discovery
- Collection and category journeys
- Product detail pages
- Calls to action
- Trust and reassurance
- Mobile experience
- Conversion barriers
- Wider customer journey opportunities
The purpose is to give brands a clearer understanding of where improvements should be made and, importantly, which changes should be prioritised first.
Full fashion brand audits
For businesses that need a wider review, the full fashion brand audit looks beyond the website and considers how the brand is presenting itself across its broader digital presence.
This is particularly useful when a business knows something is not quite working but cannot identify whether the issue sits with its website, marketing, positioning, content or overall customer experience.
The audit can explore areas including brand positioning, website experience, social presence, customer journey, messaging and digital marketing activity, helping to identify where the biggest gaps and opportunities sit.
Rather than producing a long list of disconnected recommendations, the focus is on helping the brand understand what matters most and where its time and budget are likely to have the greatest impact.
Ongoing e-commerce consultancy and strategic support
Some brands do not need another agency managing individual channels. What they need is someone who can step back, look at the wider picture and help them decide what should happen next.
Ongoing consultancy provides strategic support across the brand’s e-commerce and digital activity, helping founders and internal teams review performance, prioritise opportunities and make more informed decisions.
That might mean reviewing website data and customer behaviour one month, looking at product discovery or conversion opportunities the next, or supporting the business as it prepares for a key commercial period.
The exact focus depends on the stage of the business and the challenges it is facing.
Strategy before more activity
One of the principles behind both SLOXI and this partnership is that more activity is not always the answer.
When performance is not where a brand wants it to be, the natural response is often to increase marketing spend, create more content or launch another campaign. Sometimes that is the right decision, but only if the foundations are working.
If customers are landing on the website and struggling to find the right products, spending more money to send additional traffic there may simply increase the number of people experiencing the same problem.
If the brand positioning is unclear, creating more content will not necessarily solve it.
If the technology or customer journey is creating friction, stronger creative alone will only take the business so far.
That is why the consultancy approach starts with understanding the problem before deciding on the solution.
A natural next step for SLOXI Studios
As SLOXI enters year two, I want the business to become increasingly focused on strategic consultancy and supporting fashion and retail brands more holistically.
The first year was largely about establishing the business, developing the service offering, working with clients and understanding where SLOXI could create the most value. One of the clearest learnings has been that many of the challenges brands face cannot be solved effectively by looking at one channel in isolation.
The Get Virtual Services partnership gives SLOXI greater scope to support that bigger picture while keeping the specialist fashion and retail perspective at the centre of the work.
It also reflects the kind of business I want SLOXI to become. Rather than building a traditional agency model where every service has to sit under one roof, I am much more interested in creating the right network of expertise around a client and bringing in additional specialists where it genuinely adds value.
That allows SLOXI to stay focused on strategy, customer experience and commercial priorities while still being able to support brands when a recommendation requires broader technical expertise.
Looking ahead
There is a lot I am excited to build in SLOXI’s second year, and this partnership feels like an important part of that next phase.
Fashion and retail businesses are operating in an increasingly complex digital environment, but the answer does not always need to be more complicated. Often, the biggest opportunity comes from understanding how the existing pieces fit together, identifying where the gaps are and focusing on the changes that will make the greatest difference.
That is exactly what I want this partnership to help brands do.
I am really looking forward to working alongside Get Virtual Services and supporting more fashion founders as they strengthen their digital presence, improve their customer journeys and make more confident decisions about where to invest next.
A very exciting way to begin year two of SLOXI Studios.
